Pushpa & Aavesham: Fahadh Explains The Difference

Fahadh Faasil, the multilingual actor known for his powerhouse performances, recently shed light on the contrasting identities of his films “Pushpa 2” and “Aavesham.” With Aavesham just turning out to be a blockbuster at Malayalam theatres, the actor is promoting the film extensively and giving out interesting stuff.

In an interview, Faasil explained that while “Pushpa 2” boasts a universal story adaptable to any setting, “Aavesham” is intrinsically tied to the city of Bangalore. He feels that Pushpa: The Rise or The Rule could be told with any forest backdrop, whereas they can’t narrate Aavesham without the Bangalore backdrop. The actor tried to explain that films like Aavesham, though commercial movies, are very tough to make as they need to get the total geography right.

However, Fahadh Faasil should also understand the fact that the red-sander smuggling happens majorly from the South Indian forests only, with Chittoor district as the centre spot for decades. So, definitely, Pushpa would also be tough to find another backdrop like how Aavesham has Bangalore backdrop. Well, looks like Sukumar never explained the whole story of Pushpa to Fahadh, isn’t it?
