After postponing a couple of times, literally the makers of Superstar Prabhas’ latest movie “Kalki 2898 AD” have shocked fans when it comes to the release date. And with elections in place, and the IPL season literally taking a big bloom, even the May 9th date also got cancelled, pushing everyone into confusion. But the new date is once again officially clarified.
Today, the makers of Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD have confirmed that the film is hitting cinemas on June 27, 2024 AD which is two months from now. While the new date is not banking on any holiday season as the Summer holidays get over by then, surely the lack of any other big film around is a good sign. Also, audiences are waiting for a big film to happen after the Sankranthi season, and maybe after Salaar and Animal as well, so there are umpteen chances that Kalki 2898 AD will hit it out of the park.
On the other hand, the new poster of Kalki 2898 AD featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan is giving Hollywood like feel, though its similarities with some other post-apocalyptic and dystopian films’ posters are quite striking.
