Nagi Is Fed Up With Me, Killed My Character -Kalki DOP

The highly acclaimed film “Kalki 2898 AD” has been making waves in the Indian film industry, with its impressive production values and star-studded cast. However, behind the scenes, the cinematographer of the film, Djordje Stojiljkovic, has shared a humorous tale about his experience working on the project.

In an interview, Djordje praised director Nag Ashwin for his vision and the support he received from producer Aswini Dutt. He highlighted how Aswini provided the necessary production equipment to ensure the film’s technical aspects were top-notch. Djordje also mentioned that Nag Ashwin was not hesitant to break down a set when needed, demonstrating his commitment to achieving the best possible shots.

However, the cinematographer also revealed a lighter moment during the filming of “Kalki 2898 AD”. He joked about how he got upset when his character, a fighter-pilot, was killed off in a matter of minutes. Djordje appeared in a short role as a fighter-pilot in the film’s climax, dressed in a rebel costume. Unfortunately, his character’s fate was sealed when his plane was bombed in mid-air, a scene that left him feeling a bit disappointed.

Despite this humorous moment, Djordje’s overall experience on the set of “Kalki 2898 AD” was positive, thanks to the support and vision of Nag Ashwin and the production team. “Kalki 2898 AD” has already been released and has collected an impressive ₹1000 crores at the box office, giving limitless excitement to cinematographer Djordje Stojiljkovic and other technical crew along with the actors.
