AP Assembly: It’s Pawan Kalyan’s First Day

After the new government has formed, the Assembly sessions have been commissioned and today, the newly elected MLAs will take oath in the presence of protem speaker. The session will take place today and tomorrow. The Assembly session is expected to begin at 9.46 am.

Nara Chandra Babu Naidu took a vow that he would not enter the Assembly until he becomes the CM again. Accordingly, he lived upto the challenge and is entering the Assembly as the chief minister of the state.

Interestingly, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan who could not taste the victory in the elections in 2019 is entering the Assembly for the first time, as the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

After facing a humiliating defeat, YSRCP lost the opposition status and the party’s elected representatives will enter the Assembly as ordinary MLAs without any special privileges.

Protem Speaker Gorantla will issue notification in House for election of Speaker. CM Chandrababu and TDP MLAs will pay tribute to NTR statue at Venkatapalem.

For the next five years, it will be again interesting to witness the proceedings of Assembly with YS Jagan sitting as an ordinary MLA.
