Tadepalli YCP Office Demolished, Jagan Reacts

In a breaking development, the under-construction YSR Congress office in Tadepalli has been demolished by the government of Andhra Pradesh through CRDA authorities earlier this morning.

The CRDA officials completely demolished the under construction building that is being constructed in the land that is originally designated to the Undavalli boat yard. The officials cited this as an illegal construction and took it down.

Earlier, at the start of the YCP tenure in 2019, Jagan took down the Praja Vedika building that was built by the TDP government to address public concerns. So, now, the TDP+ government taking down a private party building in an illegal occupation can’t be argued with credence by YCP.

While Jagan was in power, this government land was allocated to YCP office construction at a throwaway price which was disputed by the opposition then. The then YCP government reportedly allotted government land for 33 years lease

YCP already has a swanky head office in Mangalagiri and this is a multi-storey building. So the need to have another mega construction in Tadepalli and that too in a large piece of government land was disputed right from the start.

Reacting on the matter, Jagan wrote “ Chandrababu has taken his Damanakanda(violence) to another level by resorting to political partisan actions in Andhra Pradesh.”

After having a fully constructed public-oriented government building like Praja Vedika saying it’s built in encroachment area, Jagan can’t argue about demolition of his private building in government land, a neutral political follower commented.

These illicit buildings like Rushikonda palace and now, the Tadepalli office are destroying YCP and Jagan’s image completely.
