Prabhas’ most awaited and his first ever mythological film made on grand canvas Adipurush is going to be a feast for fans and movie lovers. Touted to be a 3D mythological film, the film will boast high-end visual effects. Director Om Raut and the film’s team have planned extensive motion capture work in this film. The motion capture work technically begins today whereas the film’s grand muhurat would be on Feb 2, 2021.
The interesting point is that the film will have a unique technology which is first in Indian cinema. VFX combined with the Real-Time Technology is being used for Adipurush. This is commonly used in international filmmaking.
Buzzed to be made with a staggering Rs 400 Crore budget, Adipurush will see Prabhas as Lord Rama. Director Om Raut had earlier stated that there would be no Adipurush without Prabhas as the film would be a tailor-made one for the Baahubali star.
The magnum opus feature Saif Ali Khan as Ravana whereas the hunt for Sita is still on.
“Om and his team are creating an entire world of Adipurush with the latest technology, commonly used in international cinema but it will be explored for the first time in Indian filmmaking. We are proud to bring Adipurush to audiences,” says Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.
“High-end visual effects combined with real-time technology is commonly used in international films and this always helps filmmakers narrate their story. To create the world of Adipurush and to tell the epic tale, we are bringing together the same. Adipurush is a huge mission for all of us and we are looking forward to embark on this journey with Bhushanji,” adds another producer Prasad Sutar.
Below is the team of Adipurush who are working on Motion Capture Technology.
