Tollywood Getting Ready For Post-Covid Era Again

Published by

The intensity graph of the COVID-19 second wave has been decreasing for the last few days. The government of Telangana increased the relaxation timings from 6 am-10 am to 6 am-1 pm. If the trend continues to witness a downfall, the government may lift the lockdown restrictions by the end of this month. If that happens, the Telugu film industry will get back to work.

Many films have been halted due to the lockdown. The shoots of many biggies like RRR, Radhe Shyam, Acharya, Salaar, and Adi Purush have been stopped due to the lockdown. Once the restrictions are relaxed, all these films will resume their respective shootings. We hear that our star heroes are quite eager to restart the works.

Already, a set is being prepared in Ramoji Film City to shoot the balance episodes of Radhe Shyam. Apparently, 10 days shoot is left for this movie. The makers of Salaar and Adi Purush have also erected special sets in RFC so that Prabhas can shoot them simultaneously. Director Koratala Siva revealed that there are 10 working days left in Acharya’s shooting schedule. He said Ram Charan will take part in this final schedule, along with Chiranjeevi.

Director Boyapati Srinu stated that he is ready to wrap up Akhanda once Balakrishna gives a nod. Power Star Pawan Kalyan is also keen on wrapping up his ongoing films Hari Hari Veera Mallu and Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake once the shootings are resumed. As of now, the industry is hoping that the government allows film shootings by the third week of this month. If that happens, the industry will get back to life with plenty of works going around.
