Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor was introduced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions with the 2018 film Dhadak. The star kid signed two films, Mr. Lele and Dostana 2 with the same banner. She had to walk out of the former due to date clashes.
On the flip side, Dostana 2 is being reshot after the exit of Kartik Aaryan. Meanwhile, to compensate for the delay of these projects, Dharma Productions signed Janhvi for a new movie. According to the Bollywood buzz, this film will be directed by actor Boman Irani’s son Kayoze Irani.
Touted to be an emotional rom-com, this movie is expected to go on the floors very soon. The details of the rest of the cast and crew are expected to be out with the project’s official announcement.
Kayoze has been a longtime associate of Karan. In fact, he was introduced as an actor in Karan’s 2012 film Student of the Year.
Later, Kayoze shifted his focus on direction and made his directorial debut with one of the segments of the recent Netflix anthology project Ajeeb Daastaans.
Apart from Dostana 2, Janhvi is acting in Good Luck Jerry and also signed the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Helen.
