Breezy love stories are a safe bet for any debutant director. But, what matters is the presentation of the story. If one presents the love story in the same way that we have seen umpteen times in the past, it may not appeal to the viewers. Ippudu Kaaka Inkeppudu may fall in this category.
The trailer of this upcoming Telugu release was released earlier this morning. Made by mostly newcomers, it looks like the team wanted to present a coming-of-age love story that appeals to the youth.
There are many elements that may attract youngsters, like intense romantic scenes to double-meaning dialogues. But what the trailer lacked is the soul. Thus, it fails to create an impression to watch the film.
The makers tried to grab the attention with dialogues like ‘Relation with benefits. Nachinantha varaku nachinattu ga enjoy cheyadame,’ and ‘Organic piece laga unnav, flat kostava?’
The visuals looked good. The background score didn’t make any big impact and was filled with signature tune all the time.
Directed by Y. Yugandhar, Ippudu Kaaka Inkeppudu features Hasvanth Vanga, Namrata Darekar, and Katalyn Gowda in the lead roles. Tanikella Bharani and Tulasi played other pivotal roles in it. The film will hit the screens on August 6.
