North audiences thoroughly enjoy south films especially Telugu ones just because of the over the top commercial elements. And so in the recent years, there has been a huge demand for the Hindi dubbing rights of Telugu movies and for this, the dubbing producers are not hesitating to shell out big money too.
Megapowerstar Ram Charan’s ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ was the highest sold out film until the other day. The Hindi dubbing rights of the film were reportedly fetched Rs 22 crore. This feat has been surpassed now by Charan’s Babai and bestie.
The untitled film starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati which is currently in shooting stages, sealed its Hindi dubbing rights. For a massive amount of Rs 23 crore, the producers of #PSPKRanaMovie closed the deal. Earlier, Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi dubbing rights were sold for 20 crores, Ala Vaikuntapurram lo for 19 cr, Aravinda Sametha for 18 crores and Sarileru Neekevvaru for 15.2 crores.
This is just unbelievable and probably the dubbing producers might have thought that having two of the top stars of Tollywood, would get more revenues for them and also they were least bothered that this film is a remake of another south film.
Saagar K Chandra is directing #PSPKRanaMovie while Trivikram is penning the dialogues and screenplay.
The film is expected to release for 2022 Sankranthi and the official announcement of the release date is likely to be made on Pawan Kalyan’s birthday i.e, September 2nd.
