Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming film Penguin is releasing on OTT giant Amazon Prime sans theatrical release and it will start streaming from June 19. Making a way to digital platform, this film gives hopes to other films as an A-list actress’s film is releasing on OTT.
As per the latest buzz, Miss India movie is also said to be likely to be releasing on OTT only. We have learnt that the makers of the film are looking for a perfect OTT offer from various platforms and once the right deal strikes, the makers might release it sans a theatrical release.
This film is directed by Narendra Nath, written by Narendra Nath and Tharun. Miss India will be releasing in Telugu and Tamil languages. Also, Penguin will release in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. So looks like Miss India makers will also follow the same way if they get enough amount as profits from the OTT management. Till now, there has been no confirmation on which OTT has approached the makers.
Also, as of now, no Telugu film has been announced to be the one to release on OTT officially and Telugu audiences are keen to know whether any would release or not.
