Actor Simbu always finds himself in controversy and makes it to the headlines. Now, he has made it to the news once again, because of actress Roja’s husband and popular producer RK Selvamani.
Recently, the Tamil Film Producers Council has announced that it is breaking up all the ties with the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI). Selvamani, who is the president of the FEFSI, issued a statement mentioning that Simbu is the primary reason for the troubled ties between the Producer’s Council and FEFSI.
Apparently, the council has sent a notice to FEFSI asking it not to co-operate any of Simbu’s films as there are pending disputes with four of his producers, including Michael Rayappan, who bankrolled Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan (AAA).
Simbu’s new film ‘Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu’ is the primary reason for the rise of the dispute between FEFSI and the producers’ council. Apparently, the film’s producer Ishari Ganesh has sought permission from the council to allow the FEFSI members to participate in the four days shoot of the film which was held outside Chennai.
It seems Ishari assured that the pending issues will be sorted out by then and only after that, the new schedule will begin in Chennai. However, the council was not happy with FEFSI members working for the project and severed ties with it.
