Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran made his directorial debut with the 2019 political thriller Lucifer. Starring Mohanlal in the lead role, this movie went on to become the biggest grosser in the Malayalam film industry.
Even Prithviraj played a key role in the movie. The actor also announced a sequel to it and stated that the filming will begin soon. Speaking in a recent interview, Prithviraj said that the discussions are going on to remake the film as an eight-episode web series in Hindi.
Currently, the talks are going on and an official announcement will be made once everything gets confirmed. Prithviraj added that Mohanlal may or may not be acting in the Hindi remake.
The legendary actor had earlier worked for the Hindi films like Company and Ram Gopal Varma Ka Aag.
Meanwhile, Lucifer is also being remade in Telugu with Megastar Chiranjeevi playing the lead role. Mohana Raja is directing the project. The regular shooting of the film will begin in a few days.
