Prabhas and Kriti Sanon have commenced shooting for the much-awaited Adipurush in Mumbai today. Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush will see Prabhas essay the role of Lord Rama and Kriti as Sita. As the shooting has begun now, fans are not keeping calm and waiting for its FL.
A few days ago, Prabhas also took to Instagram to wish his co-star from Adipurush, Saif Ali Khan on his 51st birthday. Saif will be essaying the role of Raavan in the film. Lakshman’s role will be played by B-town actor Sunny Singh.
Back in April, the entire cast and crew were shooting in Mumbai at a fast pace. But things have come to a halt due to the second wave of coronavirus.
The other cast members are Hema Malini, who will play the role of Ram’s mother Kaushalya and Angad Bedi as Meghnad, Ravana’s son. The film Adipurush is made on a huge budget of Rs 400 crore and was said to release in theatres on August 11, 2022, in multiple languages.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair. The makers have roped in VFX supervisors of Avatar and Star Wars to work on the graphics of the film.
