When big heroes okay your story and ask you to wait, usually many upcoming and star filmmakers wait for years. We have seen how Sukumar waited for more than a year for Allu Arjun to roll Pushpa, while many filmmakers have given almost two years into waiting to get their film with Pawan Kalyan started. But then, creative filmmaker Krish is a bit different.
Today the first glimpse of Krish’s upcoming film Kondapolam got released where Vaishnav Tej sported an intense look as he plays the role of a shepherd who heads to a green hill to make his cattle graze. The interesting point is, at a time when Krish’s big venture, Hari Hara Veeramallu with Pawan Kalyan is in the making, the director made use of the gap time given by Powerstar to carve out this film with the new mega hero and Rakul Preet Singh as leads. Who else would have dared to make another movie in the middle, when one with Powerstar is going on?
They say that intense pre-production, clarity of thought and ability to cane movies in a well-planned manner has helped Krish achieve this feat. That too for films based on a novel, writing the adapted screenplay is a bit easy job for makers like Krish, and that might have worked out in his favour too.
One wonders if other star makers would also take a clue from Krish to carve out some small films when their big budgeted ventures are getting delayed.
Kondapolam, directed by Krish, is based on Sannapureddy Venkatarami Reddy’s novel of the same name. The film has music composed by MM Keeravani.
