Actress Payal Rajput lands into trouble after she inaugurated a shopping mall in Peddapalli, Telangana. The actress failed to wear a mask among the huge crowd gathered around.
Payal, who inaugurated a shopping mall in Peddapalli on July 11, had broken the covid19 protocols by not wearing a mask. And a man named Bonkuri Santosh filed a petition in the Court requesting to take action against her and the management of the mall.
The Court ordered the police to file a case and investigate it. Junior Civil Incharge Parthasarthy and SI Rajesh filed cases against her and a few others who violated the Covid rules. The people gathered around the mall also failed to maintain social distance.
It is often reiterated on various platforms that people not wearing masks in public spaces are violating the fundamental right to life of everyone else. With India only beginning to emerge from the devastation caused by the second wave of infections, shouldn’t celebrities and public figures be more careful in the examples that they set?
