Revisiting real-life incidents is always a winning formula in the film and series sector. Amazon Prime Video has taken up this formula and is now coming up with a brand new web series called Mumbai Diaries. The streaming platform dropped the trailer of this series.
The story of Mumbai Diaries is set against the backdrop of the horrific 26/11 attacks. The story is set in a hospital and the events that happened in it during the attack. The makers tried to show the pressure that doctors underwent at that time. They also added a few characters whose loved ones remain as hostages.
The trailer is extremely intriguing and sends chills down your spines. The dialogues seem to be written well too. The line, ‘Hum doctors hain. Hum human body ko dekhte hain. Human character ko dekhna hamara kaam nahi hain,’ impresses the viewers right away.
Created by Nikkhil Advani of D-Day fame, Mumbai Diaries features Sandesh Kulkarni, Mohit Raina, Konkona Sen Sharma, Satyajeet Dubey, and Shreya Dhanwantary in the prominent roles. It starts streaming on Prime Video from September 9.
