Last year, the cops have busted a drug racket in Bengaluru and taken two prominent actresses, Sanjjanaa Galrani and Ragini Dwivedi into custody. After serving a few months in jail, they are now out on conditional bail. Meanwhile, the recent reports of their hair follicle samples testing positive for substance abuse, have brought them back to the news.
Speaking to the Times of India, Sanjjanaa said that this Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report popped up exactly at the time when her career is getting back on track. “Life has been very difficult post the case, and only a few people stuck with me through my darkest hours. I am going through an extreme financial crisis. Friends with whom I had invested money have turned their backs on me. I feel completely drained, financially, personally, legally, and emotionally. I still have big legal bills to meet,” stated the Bujjigadu actress.
“My life was just getting back on track and then this FSL report pops up. I have been busy serving people who are in more pain than me. Also, on the career front, I have been trying to bounce back with work through my social media accounts and did two films post the lockdown, which are helping me cope,” she further added.
Sanjjanaa said that it is strange to see only two women remaining in limelight and various other celebrities and politicians who are accused in the case got away so easily. She opined that the FSL report depends on many grounds and she is going to challenge it with the help of her legal advisor.
