One of the happening production houses in Tollywood that is continuously carving out medium to high budgeted films is none other than Sithara Entertainment. And recently they have altered the title of one of their upcoming movies which has become a talk of the town now.
Sithara is currently bankrolling a film featuring Siddhu Jonnalagadda in the lead, which was titled “Narudi Brathuku Natana” until yesterday. The film now got rechristened as “DJ Tillu”, in a view that this posh title would make the film reach many younger audiences than that poetic title. But then, these modern titles are no guaranteed that people will surely patronise the movie.
Apparently, Narudi Brathuku Natana, a title that is based on a lyric from yesteryear super hit song, is quite catchy in the first place. Also, that poetic touch makes films authentic like how Maniratnam or Gowtham Menon to that matter always names their movies. And DJ Tillu is also a modern one, but then, if the whole film is revolving around DJ-ing, like Disney’s Spin (the film is about a girl DJ) then it looks fine. Otherwise, giving up on that poetic title will not be justifiable.
We have to see if Sithara will use this title for any other movie, or will they completely give it up.
