Young comedian Rahul Ramakrishna is very active on social media. Apart from talking about world cinema, literature, politics and other interesting topics, Rahul is also very vocal about the various trivial issues in the world. Unlike most film celebs who remain silent to be politically correct, Rahul never minces his words and openly condemns oppressive politicians.
Most of Rahul’s social media posts are often sarcastic and thought-provoking in marriage}, while some are simply cheeky. One such post by Rahul on his Twitter page has now turned controversial. Exuding confidence in his soon-to-release original film ‘NET’, Rahul recently tweeted, “Maa cinema ki g*lo dum undi.”
Needless to say, Rahul’s tweet received flak from netizens, who criticised his audacity. However, Rahul was unperturbed and didn’t even delete his tweet. He again went on to tweet, “Oho Twitter lo andaru patheethule anamaata,” and this further added fuel to the fire.
While a section of netizens was amused by Rahul’s confidence, another section was clearly miffed with the expletive the actor used. Eventually, Rahul succeeded in ensuring his film NET grab enough eyeballs ahead of its Zee5 premiere on September 10. Also starring Avika Gor in a bold role, NET is set in the world of voyeurism and cyber crimes.
