After quitting politics and returning to cinema, Chiru is going at full throttle. He has intensified the pace in signing up for new films. And the result is he has an interesting line-up.
However, a few of them are remakes. While he is waiting for the release of Acharya, he has Godfather (Lucifer remake) with director Mohan Raja, Bholaa Shankar (Vedalam remake) with Mehar Ramesh and Untitled film with Bobby.
It is buzzed that Chiru has bagged the remake rights of yet another Ajith’s film. Impressed with Gautham Menon and Ajith’s action thriller Yennai Arindhaal (2015), Chiru is said to have purchased its Telugu remake rights.
Now, Chiru is looking for a sensible director to helm the project. This is an interesting film to watch out for as Chiru would be seen as a former police officer who protects a young woman from a notorious ‘vengeful’ criminal who is linked to his past. Chiru has several names in mind. But he is looking for a perfect director to handle this film.
Ram Charan is equally interested in this project and looking out for directors who show his veteran dad in the best way possible. This film is bankrolled by Chiru’s home banner Konidela Production house.
