Samantha, when asked about why she dropped her surname from the social media handles, she said she is not ready to talk about the reason. Samantha said she was trolled heavily during the ‘The Family Man 2’ release and she did not want to react then or for this as well. Samantha says this is how she’s always been and she doesn’t want to react to them, during her interview with Film Companion.
Samantha also said, she was persuaded into giving a reaction to the issue during The Family Man 2 and there were more than 65000 tweets asking her to reply. She felt she will speak she had to and when she feels like saying something. ‘I will not be bulldozed into saying something’ She added.
Revealing other non-controversial updates, Samantha said she is super happy for receiving an award for Raaji’s role in The Family Man 2, for which she worked very hard. Samantha thanked Raj and DK for giving her the role of Raaji.
Speaking about Shakuntalam, Samantha said she always wanted to act like a princess because she admired animation movies right from her childhood. Samantha’s dream was to act in an epic movie as she was very much inspired by animated roles of princesses. She happily says that her dream turned true with Shakunthalam and thanks to Gunasekhar.
Sam is glad that she acted in an action-based role Raaji for The Family Man 2 and she now wants to appear as a Superman!
