Good news for Deepika Padukone fans! The actress is all set to be seen in her second Hollywood project. The tall beauty will reportedly be working in a cross-cultural romantic comedy for STXfilms and Temple Hill. To much surprise, Deepika is also producing it through her Ka productions banner.
Temple Hill Production’s Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen would be developing the project, who earned global fame with films such as The Twilight series, The Fault in Our Stars, Love, Simon. Isaac Klausner is overseeing the project for Temple Hill.
When Deepika forayed into Hollywood with XXX: Return Of Xander Cage, people compared her with an already established global icon, Priyanka Chopra. The latter is someone who is successfully carrying some shows like Quantico on her shoulders and this is a definite achievement. Deepika is a newbie in Hollywood yet she has equal focus and sense of purpose.
While we believe comparing Deepika to Priyanka in terms of being assertive and presentation is superfluous at the moment, it is great news that Deepika, one of the enormously talented personalities in India, is growing as an international superstar. Temple Hill romantic comedy will showcase the spirit and vibrant settings of India and New York in ways that made Crazy Rich Asians feel so authentic and fresh.
