One of the Tamil biggies that had to opt for a direct digital release due to the COVID-19 pandemic is Vijay Sethupathi starrer Tughlaq Durbar. This movie was supposed to hit the screens in May 2020 but the coronavirus pandemic had ruined all the plans.
Eventually, the makers opted for an OTT release and sold the rights to Netflix. The streaming giant has released the trailer of this movie earlier today. Going by it, Tughlaq Durbar looks like a political comedy-drama. Vijay Sethupathi’s funny antics will make us smile throughout the trailer.
The dialogues are quirky and the funny conversation between Sethupathi and Satyaraj, in the end, makes us laugh for sure. Tughlaq Durbar features Manjima Mohan and Raashi Khanna as the female leads. Senior actor Parthiban played a pivotal role in it.
Tughlaq Durbar is directed by Delhi Prasad Deenadayal. Govind Vasantha has composed the music of this movie. It will premiere on Netflix on September 11.
