As is known, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) issued notices to 10 Tollywood celebrities last week, in connection with a money laundering probe linked to a four-year-old drug case.
The SIT that filed a charge sheet in 2017 gave clean chit to all the film personalities who were questioned as part of the investigation.
Today, director Puri Jagannadh along with his chartered accountant appeared before ED officials who questioned them for 10 long hours.
Puri is said to have co-operated fully with the officials and submitted some documents to determine his version.
He also assured complete co-operation to further probe as well.
Interestingly, producer Bandla Ganesh went to the ED office and did all the drama there.
He said that he went there only to meet Puri and he wasn’t served any notices.
It appeared, it’s a complete publicity stunt by the actor turned producer who enjoys to be in the limelight for right or wrong reason.
He is being called as a joker for what he spoke with the media today.
The ED authorities will next question Charmme Kaur on September 2nd.
It has to be seen whether the Tollywood celebrities come out clean in the ongoing money laundering probe!
