South actor Siddharth expressed shock when a couple of Twitter users mourned his death (God forbid) instead of late actor Sidharth Shukla, who died due to a heart attack on Tuesday. He also pointed out that trolls were making nasty comments on the tweet.
One netizen wrote, ‘R.I.P Siddharth’, with a crying emoji, which is now deleted. The actor replied, “This tweet and the replies. Nothing should surprise us these days I guess. I’m speechless.” In another tweet, he called it ‘targeted hate’. “Targeted hate and harassment. What have we been reduced to?”
After the actor shared the tweet, his fans expressed sorrow over a section of people who posted disgusting tweets. Later, Siddharth also gave condolences to Sidharth Shukla, writing, “Profound condolences to the family, friends and fans of young #SiddharthShukla. Gone too soon.”
On the work front, Siddharth and Sharwanand’s upcoming film, Maha Samudram, is all set to hit the big screens on October 14, on the occasion of Dussehra. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, the film has Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel playing female leads.
