Sonam Kapoor is all ready with her sprawling London apartment and she displayed the plush interiors to Architectural Digest magazine for their September-October issue. The photos show luxurious artwork of her flat and she shared the same on her Instagram.
Sonam Kapoor wrote that she wanted a home in connection to her Indian roots and Interior designer Rooshad Shroff helped her achieve the same. She also wanted “a more outdoor feel on the inside, rich in greens, blues and jewel tones,” and her desire is vividly seen on the elaborate wall motif in the living room.
The velvet red couch and a few stunning décor pieces, including silver elephants ( mother-in-law’s gift to Sonam) on the centre table left fans in awe. In her post, Sonam explained: “The first time Anand Ahuja and I stepped foot into our flat it instantly felt like home! It’s a two and a half bedroom space nestled in Notting Hill, and perfect for where we are in our lives at present.”
The house in London’s Notting Hill is like a dream with a vibrant mix of colours, textures and motifs and of course, kept the traditional Indian elements intact. Also, her husband Anand Ahuja shared a few glimpses of their house and wrote: “It’s not ‘Falling in Love’, it’s ‘RISING in Love’. Thanks for our home, Sonam Kapoor.”
