Once in a lifetime, some films shine on actors and actresses, but if one stays with that particular role for a long time, then their career will burst like a bubble. Going by some of the reports, it looks like talented beauty Keerthy Suresh is not coming out of the Mahanati hangover though everyone associated with that film has moved on.
Apparently, Keerthy saw a huge success through Mahanati and won awards as well for her act in the role of great veteran star heroine Savithri. Since that film happened, Keerthi is trying to push herself into more female-centric movies, and prove a point.
But the flop shows of films like Penguin and Miss India are now troubling the prospects of Good Luck Sakhi too. Though she has some star hero’s films like Mahesh’s Sarkari Vari Paata, the actress is still trying to get female-centric movies, say insiders.
The likes of Nayantara and Kangana Ranaut are continuously picking up female-centric projects because they have reached a certain level in stardom where they are able to command huge crowds to theatres, all alone without any big hero or top actors alongside them.
Had Keerthy attained such a position, her decision of picking female-centric films or female-protagonist type stories would work. But without getting such stardom, definitely, she won’t taste a Mahanati like success all the time. Isn’t it?
