In season 3, the team had roped in Tamannaah Simhadri, who is from the transgender community. However, her behavior in the show drew a lot of criticism and even housemates couldn’t build a healthy rapport with her. Eventually, she got eliminated in the mid-way.

Due to the negative criticism faced by Tamannaah, the makers didn’t get any transgender for season 4. For the ongoing fifth season, television artist Priyanka Singh got signed up.

Priyanka is also transgender and shot to fame with a television show. Her personality is completely contrasting to Tamannaah Simhadri’s behavior. Priyanka is carrying herself very well in the show and is developing a healthy relationship with everyone in the house.

She managed to get a positive impression among housemates as well as audiences with her sweet and lovely attitude. Many people on social media are heaping praises on her already and opined that the trans-community finally got the right representation on the show. They are hoping that she will continue being herself in the coming days as well and have a long journey in the season.
