Finally, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s keenly awaited romance drama under Sekhar Kammula’s direction ‘Love Story’ has sealed its release date. The latest we hear is that the film will be hitting theaters worldwide on September 24th. An official announcement in this regard will be out this afternoon.
Love Story was supposed to release in April. However, the second wave of COVID-19 was at its peak those days, and the film’s release plans were put on hold indefinitely following the lockdown. Speculations about the film skipping its theatrical release and opting for a direct OTT release also made several rounds until August.
Love Story’s team later clarified that the film will first have a theatrical release and went on to lock September 10 as the release date. But even that plan was postponed due to the existing scenario with regards to theaters functioning and ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh.
It was then speculated that the film’s team will take a call on the new release date only after the film industry’s meeting with AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. And today, the very day the film was supposed to release as per the previous plan, the makers are going to reveal the new release date as September 24th.
