RRR Team: We can’t announce a new release date

RRR is one of the prestigious projects in Indian Cinema. The Telugu film will have a pan-India release soon. The makers already confirmed the film’s arrival to theatres in October 2021 but there is a change of plan in the same. Today, team RRR confirmed the postponement of the film’s release.

Although there are speculations in the media about the film missing October 2021, the team has made it official today.

Taking to Twitter, the PR team wrote, “Post production nearly done to have #RRRMovie ready by October’21. But as known to many, we are postponing the release but cannot announce a new date with theatres indefinitely closed. We will release at the earliest possible date when the world cinema markets are up and running.”

It is very clear that RRR will not hit the screens until and unless the theatres are fully functional not just in the Telugu states but the entire country.

October 13th, 2021 was the initial release date of the movie. The team will announce a new release date when the situation is right.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR features Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Rahul Ramakrishna, Samuthirakhani, Olivia Morris and others. DVV Danayya is producing the film under the DVV Entertainments banner.
