A meeting between AP CM YS Jagan and biggies of Telugu film industry was supposed to happen this month. But till date there lacked clarity on this and there is also a big confusion too. From the AP government sources we hear that the state government did not invite the Tollywood personalities.
Amidst this we hear that the Tollywood biggies have reportedly contacted AP transport minister Perni Nani and through him they asked for CM Jagan’s appointment. After due consultation with AP CMO, minister Nani informed the TFI biggies to meet CM Jagan on September 20th at Tadepalli. Yet there is no official word either from AP government or TFI sources regarding this meeting.
Meanwhile Tollywood personalities have already discussed their issues pertaining to the industry and they will be brought to the notice of CM Jagan. Mainly ticket pricing has turned into a big concern and with the AP government planning to take over the ticket booking through an official portal, Tollywood will be expressing their opinion before CM Jagan.
Apart from this, TFI wants the state government to increase the number of shows per day which is currently just three. Also in Grade – 2 centres, the TFI is requesting to hike the ticket prices based on the seating facility.
