Tomorrow, we are going to witness Sekhar Kammula’s love feast and a concoction of delicate emotions, “Love Story” on the silver screen. Going by the present trend, the advance bookings are pretty good compared to any other release in recent times. But this Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer has much more things to do.
Recently we have Gopichand’s Seetimaar opening to resounding openings at the box office but all the collections have dropped from the first Monday. Just in a couple of days, theatres witnessed the same old dry look with footfalls falling down.
That proved the fact that audiences are yet to come out of the second wave fear or they want a better entertainer to attract them to theatres. In this juncture, Sekhar Kammula is the only hopeful candidate for Tollywood to write some new pieces of history.
If Love Story turns out to be a two days feast, then producers who are dumping crores of money to make projects with big heroes might get the real jolt. All the big lineup that is following Love Story including Republic, Most Eligible Bachelor and other films will be worried a lot.
But if Love Story withstands the pandemic impact and proves analysts wrong by successfully minting money for nearly three weeks, then the theatrical business will be back to pretty normal.
So, let’s wait for Sept 24th to find out if Love Story will be a two days feast or a three weeks treat. Game on!
