Naga Chaitanya Akkineni and Sai Pallavi played the lead roles in the latest Telugu film titled Love Story. The film is generating good revenue at the box office in the Telugu states. Interestingly, the film is also generating mind-blowing numbers at the USA box office. The film has now joined the ‘million dollar club’ in the USA.
It is not easy for a film to score one million dollar at the USA box office, especially during this pandemic but Love Story achieved this feat in just three days. Only two movies were able to pull off this achievement at the USA box office since February 2020. Both the films are from Tollywood.
Jathi Rathnalu that released this year also scored more than one million dollar rupees at the USA box office. Now, Love Story will have to collect more than 60K dollar rupees to surpass the numbers of Jathi Rathnalu.
Love Story is the second film in Naga Chaitanya’s career to collect a million dollar in the USA. For director Sekhar Kammula as well, this is the second film. The film is now all set to become the highest-grossing Indian film in the USA, especially in the COVID era.
Directed by Sekhar Kammula, Love Story features Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the leads.
