It has been more than 20 days since actor Sai Dharam Tej met with a bike accident in Hyderabad. He is currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Hyderabad. There were continuous updates about his health in the initial days.
But there are no regular health updates in the past few days. Meanwhile, Tej’s younger brother Panjaa Vaishnav Tej stated that the Supreme actor is doing well and may get discharged in a week or 10 days.
Speaking in an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, Vaishnav Tej said that Sai Dharam Tej is currently under doctors’ supervision and is undergoing physiotherapy. He hoped that Sai will be back home in a week or 10 days.
When asked whether over-speeding was the reason for the accident, Vaishnav Tej said, “He was driving the bike at a normal speed but the ground was muddy, and when he applied the brakes, it skidded and he fell. The fall caused a collarbone fracture and he had a little congestion. Sai has been completely fine from day one, but it takes time for a fractured collarbone to get back to normal.”
Vaishnav Tej also stated that their mother Vijaya Durga was strong since the day of the accident and used to say that nothing will happen to her son.
On the career front, Vaishnav Tej is currently awaiting the release of his second film Konda Polam, which hits the screens on October 8. Meanwhile, Sai Dharam Tej’s latest flick Republic had hit the screens a couple of days ago.
