After a few unfortunate incidents, the debate of nepotism has increased in Indian cinema for the last couple of years. Various celebrities have various opinions on this issue.
Rana Daggubati, who also comes from an influential family in the industry, shared his opinion on nepotism.
Speaking in a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Rana said, “Nepotism, by definition, is applied to political hierarchy or public sector companies. The entertainment world is based on the arts. It requires hard work from everyone, irrespective of being from a prominent family or not.”
Rana had backing when he entered the industry but he carved a niche for himself over the years. Currently, he is one of the popular actors in the country, who is known for playing any kind of a role.
The actor is currently busy with multiple projects. He is acting alongside Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the upcoming film Bheemla Nayak. Directed by Saagar K Chandra, this film is an official remake of the Malayalam hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
On the flip side, he also recently announced a new web series titled Rana Naidu. This Netflix original features Venkatesh Daggubati as another lead hero.
