Mumbai girl Nidhhi Agerwal shot to fame in Tollywood with the blockbuster film iSmart Shankar. Now, she is acting alongside Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the upcoming period epic-drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu. The Mr. Majnu actress spilled beans on her role in the movie and the experience of acting alongside Pawan, in a recent interview.
Nidhhi is playing the role of a princess named Panchami in this film. Speaking to the Times of India, Nidhhi said that this is the most challenging character she played in her career. “Wearing so much jewelry and make-up is not easy. Everything is literally stitched onto the costume. Unlike regular costumes, you can’t wear them directly, I wear regular clothes and this costume is then stitched onto them. There was no way that I could even use the washroom without taking the whole thing off,” said Nidhhi.
Nidhhi also revealed that she cannot even eat food properly while wearing the costume. But she feels it is all worth it because it is such a wonderful film to be a part of.
When asked whether she felt comfortable acting alongside Pawan who is twice her age, Nidhhi said that it was the same as romancing any 25-year-old on-screen, for her.
“Pawan Kalyan is the youngest hero at heart in Tollywood. My chemistry with him is going to be rocking. We’ve shot some scenes and they’ve come out so well. They’re very naughty, funny, and cute,” said Nidhhi.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu is being directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. It is slated for the 2022 release.
