Hyderabad-based Yamini Films has announced Music School, a one-of-a-kind bilingual musical starring Sharman Joshi and Shriya Saran. The film will have maestro Ilaiyaraaja writing and composing 12 songs. As per the reports, “Music School explores the pressure of the unimaginative education system on children to mug equations and aim only to become doctors or engineers, leaving no time for art or sport”.
Shriya shared the news on her Instagram yesterday with a bunch of beautiful pictures. She wrote “Thank you @jayantireddylabel for this stunning saree and making my dashera beautiful…. This dashera I’m starting a beautiful movie directed by Paparao sir, choreographed by fantastic @adzmurray , music by legendary illaiyaraja sir, starring talented @sharmanjoshi …. I feel blessed”
Shriya looks gorgeous in a red heavy embroidered saree. She shared pictures of the Muhurta Pooja which was completed on the day of Dussehra. It is reported that the film will also recreate three songs from the Hollywood classic ‘The Sound of Music’.
This comic musical is set in Hyderabad and Goa. Written and to be directed by Papa Rao Biyyala, the film will also have Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam in pivotal roles. And singer Shaan will also be seen doing a cameo in the film. Cinematographer Kiran Deohans (Jodhaa Akbar) is on board for the project.
