As the theatres have reopened in Maharashtra, Bollywood biggies are gearing up for their releases. It has been more than a year and a half since a big-budget Hindi film had hit the theatres.
Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi will be the first Hindi biggie to hit the screens. It releases on November 5. The next in line is Salman Khan’s Antim, which hits the screens on November 26.
Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, this movie features Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma in the other lead role.
The trailer of this film was dropped the other day and it looks like a pakka commercial film with all the necessary elements that appeal to Salman’s fans.
The Dabangg actor played the role of an honest Sikh cop in the film and Aayush will be seen as a budding don. The film deals with the hardships faced by farmers and their links to the gangster mafia. Antim is an official remake of the 2018 Marathi film Mulshi Pattern.
The trailer featured many action sequences between Salman and Ayush. Earlier, Salman’s role was supposed to be a cameo but it was later extended as his charisma can bring back the audiences to the theatres. Antim features Pragya Jaiswal as the female lead. It has to be seen how well does this movie performs at the box office.
