SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR- Roudram Ranam Rudhiram’ is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films for the year 2022. Fans have been yearning to know more deets about the film since the film’s first poster was released. Every one of us also wants to know about the sequel of the film and here Rajamouli answers the same.
During the press conference of the movie, the director was asked about the sequel of the movie. Rajamouli said, “When I made Bahubali, the film itself, the story itself warranted two parts. In RRR, the whole story comes within one film. I don’t believe in making the film’s one part, two-part, three-part for the marketing, for the business. It doesn’t work, it’s a dishonest way of making films and I don’t want to make films that way.”
Known for his atheism ideologies, Rajamouli spoke on the topic saying that “I don’t believe in God and theatre is my temple. It’s my honour that I am here. I am very happy that this collaboration is going to happen.” The RRR director also stated that he makes movies for audiences so that they can come together and experience.
“I have always made films for theatres. I want people to come and see and interact with each other and enjoy the film together in the cinemas. That is what I have learnt from my childhood,” he says. Rajamouli feels cinemas will continue to flourish. “Everything can co-exist. If cinemas could co-exist with television since the 90s, they can co-exist with OTT too,” the director avers.
RRR is produced by D.V.V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments. MM Keeravani is the music composer. With multiple postponements, the fans are now waiting for an update from the makers. RRR makers are apparently planning to have a grand release as it is slated for release on the 7th of January 2022. Furthermore, PEN Studios has bagged the theatrical distribution rights across North India and has also bought worldwide electronic rights for all languages.
