Puneeth Rajkumar’s death has left a void in Sandalwood and fans are weeping today with immeasurable grief. The entire film fraternity is in shock and several actors shared their heartfelt condolences to the Power Star Puneeth. Among them, Jr NTR was one of the firsts to share that he is heartbroken after the demise of co-actor Puneeth. He tweeted, “Heartbroken! Can’t believe you have gone so soon”.
Puneeth shared a profound rapport with several Telugu stars and his bonding with NTR was a memorable one. Shattered with the news, Jr NTR left for Bengaluru on a flight to attend the last rites of his late friend.
To the unversed, NTR once collaborated with the Kannada star for a song in a film titled, Chakravyuha, in 2016. The late actor also used to call Jr NTR a ‘half brother of Karnataka’ as the latter’s mom hails from Kundapura, Udipi, Karnataka.
Along with NTR, it is expected to see a few more Telugu heroes attending the funeral today. Puneeth has always maintained inseparable friendships with Tollywood celebs such as with Mega family, Mahesh Babu, Balakrishna, Allu Arjun, and many more. Also, a sea of grieving fans are seen paying their last respects to Puneeth at the moment at Bengaluru’s Kanteerava Stadium.
