One of the major issues that are being discussed in Tollywood right now is how the big heroes are going to adjust their films at theatres.
With RRR hitting cinemas on Jan 7th, Radheshyam set for 14th Jan release, and other biggies following, many felt that Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan’s Sarkaru Vari Paata and Bheemla Nayak respectively will shift to February. Though they haven’t confirmed the dates, there is slight confusion so far.
Other day when quizzed about RRR’s clash with Radheshyam, director Rajamouli stated that he is not worried about that as theatres can accompany four big films easily during festival times, and currently, the film industry needs to see a revival at the box office, and these big films could help it a lot.
“I wish all the films will work because these are the times where audiences are likely to watch all the movies if they are good. I want all the films to do well not just my film alone because box office will get a total uplift only then”, he added.
These words are actually encouraging the producers of Bheemla and Sarkaru now to push the films to theatres on January 12th and 13th of 2020 respectively. As Rajamouli himself gave the mighty clarity, surely these producers want the big films releasing on Sankranthi eve only.
But the major task is to accumulate right number of theatres at right areas such that every film will get a superior opening and the subsequent footfalls.
