Star actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s death came in as a huge shocker to the entire state of Karnataka. Many people are yet to digest the fact that he is no more. Even though Puneeth is not amongst us right now, he will live on forever with his films.
Meanwhile, Puneeth had two projects in the pipeline. One is James, which is in the last leg of its shoot and the other film is Dwaitha, which was supposed to hit the floors in December. Technically, James will be the last film of the actor.
According to the sources, there is one schedule left for the film to be shot. Puneeth was prepping up for that schedule. Apparently, he wrapped up the entire talkie part, barring an action sequence.
It is being heard that the makers are planning to chuck that action sequence now. The team is planning to release the film next year on Puneeth’s birthday. But the biggest challenge will be the dubbing of Puneeth’s role.
Fans will find it odd if someone else dubs his role. Thus, the makers are planning to collaborate with a Mumbai-based studio to enhance Puneeth’s on-location voice and match it with visuals.
A wide release is being planned for James as the film’s team wants to give a fitting tribute to the actor.
