Despite some encouraging words about the Sankranthi clash from director Rajamouli as well as leading distributors like Dil Raju, producer Chinnbabu of Haarika and Haasini is said to be a bit worried about the possibility of losing great openings. This is regarding Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Bheemla Nayak and here is what the inside talk says.
Apparently, Chinnababu is of the opinion that RRR (Jan 7 release) and Radheshyam (Jan 14 release) is going to take a huge number of theatres. With only a week gap between them, surely any other film that comes in between will get crushed.
While Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak which is aimed at Jan 12th release will get enough theatres for sure, collections will get choked with the two biggest films alongside. That is said to be worrying the producer a lot now.
Recently the producer is said to have met Pawan Kalyan along with Trivikram to discuss the same thing. While PK is keen on releasing the film on the eve of Sankranthi, to which even other producers and distributors also agreed, now he is said to have got into thinking as Chinnababu wants to postpone the release. We have to see what will be their final decision.
Bheemla Nayak is an official remake of the Malayalam super hit film Ayyappanum Koshikyum. Telugu version is being directed by Sagar Chandra, while Trivikram penned the dialogues.
