Just a day ago, streaming giant Netflix announced a new project based on the popular Archie Comics. Acclaimed filmmaker Zoya Akhtar will helm this show.
We all know how popular Archie Comics are, especially among the 90s kids. It will definitely be a nostalgic trip for that generation to see the comics coming into life.
“Get your milkshakes ready, because Archie and the gang are about to get down and desi in “The Archies”. A coming-of-age musical drama directed by @zoieakhtar. Coming soon to Netflix!” wrote Netflix while announcing the project on social media.
If the ongoing buzz in Bollywood is anything to go by, three star kids are going to make their debut with this show. They are Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda.
However, there is no official confirmation about the news yet. It will be definitely interesting to see these star-lads making their big debuts with such a prestigious project.
This show will be bankrolled jointly by Graphic India and Zoya’s Tiger Baby Films. More details about it will be announced in the coming days.
