What does middle-class Telugu audience usually feel about Nandamuri Balakrishna? Though everyone knows for a fact that he is a superstar, talented actor, philanthropist and politician, often his public speeches and slapping of fans have built a negative image around him. But it looks like that opinion on him has changed big time now. Here’s an interesting discussion going on about the Nandamuri scion now.
Apparently, after watching the second episode of Unstoppable on Aha, where Balayya hosted Nani, the public’s perception of the actor has changed big time. He’s not only jovial and candid, also he has this unique knack for observing many things related to the film industry, society and fellow actors. For an actor of his stature, surely he might not have spoken in that tone with Nani if he has a bit of arrogance or head weight. Never at any point during the show, felt scripted and Balayya’s natural flair to appreciate talent, talking about his own flops, taking things on a casual note, is surely a major revelation about him.
People who have felt that the actor never cares about anything related to Tollywood has now started to feel that he is a different person than the public image that was built around him all these years. He might have shown his frustration and anger in the public, but then, Balayya seems to be a quite simple person on the inside. The way he’s conducting the show is proof of that, where he openly speaks up about his habits, his flops and asks about the guest’s flop movies.
And many times Balayya appreciated Nani’s revelations too and then the way he inquired about the well-being of his family and kid is another sort of thing we have to say. All these actions have now led to a belief that only some people around the star portrayed him as if he is a dictator like person, but he is only disciplined and simple, and his onscreen persona is no match to his original personality.
