Stars Unity In Donations – What’s Up?

The flood situation in Andhra Pradesh state has devastated many and like every time Tollywood’s celebrity fraternity has responded generously. But then, almost all the star heroes who have donated for the Andhra Pradesh CM Relief Fund, have surprised everyone by donating the same figure.

The scenario in Tollywood used to be, if a big star donates ‘X lakhs, then other big stars donate ‘X+10’ lakhs and so on. But now, almost all the top stars including Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun have donated ₹ 25 lakhs each to the Andhra Pradesh govt. One wonders why all the stars donated the same amount, and if this is just a coincidence or something they have collectively planned.

One thing is for sure, with the Andhra Pradesh government cracking the whip on ticket rates, surely the Tollywood fraternity is deeply hurt. And now that they have all donated the same amount of money, it looks like they are giving a message that ‘all are one’ here and want the AP govt to respond on the tickets thing accordingly without any bias.

On the other hand, recently there were remarks by certain YSRC leaders that Tollywood has ignored AP Govt big time and accused that they haven’t even given any funds to their party. Keeping on this mind, are Tollywood heroes making their moves cautiously?
