Looking at every single frame of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest film Akhanda, what could one feel is that, director Boyapati Sreenu has filled the actor in every frame of the film. For most of the time except the sequences of Srikanth and another villain, we could see him on the screen. Guess what, it’s a bit painful to see him we have to say, and here’s why we are saying it.
With most of the scenes either being loud ones or some heavy action sequences, Balayya has put on lots of effort in almost all the scenes. Unlike some films where he has limited action and only lots of dialogue, where he has loads of action.
Not stopping there, huge makeup and wearing lots of rings, malas and much other stuff for the Akhanda role makes it a heavy thing to do. At 61 years of age, usually, people retire, but it looks Balayya entered just his 30s if his stunts are anything to go by.
Many are wondering why couldn’t Balayya pick up some powerful stories and roles rather than these sweat-inducing dance and fight roles. Rather than doing smart work like a Rajnikanth or Amitabh Bachhan to that matter after touching 60, it’s definitely inspiring to see Balayya working quite hard, but at the same time, he should be aware of the physical limitations he should apply to himself for his own care. After looking at Akhanda, everyone understands why Balayya got surgery done recently.
