Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently high on the success of his latest flick Akhanda. This Boyapati Srinu directorial film is doing wonders at the box office and is all set to become one of the biggest hits of this year. The major highlight of this movie is the character of Akhanda.
Balayya played the role of an agora for the first time and he did complete justice to the character. Apparently, Balayya continued doing one scene in the movie even though he was injured badly on the sets.
While the climax fight scene is being shot, the Trishul in Balayya’s hand had fallen on his right foot. Immediately, he took a rest for some time and came back to resume the shoot. When the shoot was completed, it was found that Balayya’s foot was completely swollen.
When the makers have asked him why did he shoot in pain when they could have postponed it to another day, Balayya said that postponing the shoot will affect the producer badly.
“We have built this large set. There are so many actors in the scene. If we postpone the shoot, there will be trouble in scheduling the call sheets once again. It will be a hectic financial and mental burden for the producer. Don’t worry about it (his leg). Continue the shoot,” Balayya had apparently told the makers.
Such is his dedication towards the shoot and the respect he has towards his producers. This trivial fact is now going viral on social media.
Akhanda featured Pragya Jaiswal as the female lead. Srikanth, Poorna and Jagapathi Babu have played the other key roles in the movie.
