In one particular period, the whole of Tollywood is busy doing ‘rayalseema faction’ movies. Later they have fallen heavily on Sreenu Vaitla genre of films where the whole of second half happens in a big house.
And now, it looks like another such similarity could be found between Telugu films and the type of stories our directors are narrating.
Right now if we look at Pushpa, RRR and Bheemla Nayak, the three big films that are going to hit the marquee in the next few weeks of time, we would understand that they all have a striking similarity. Most of the action part of these films actually takes place in a forest backdrop.
While Pushpa has Seshachalam forests as the main theme, in RRR we could see that the main protagonist come from the forest and most of the action takes place. And Bheemla Nayak is a story that is set up in a tribal area itself, so the whole film literally happens in a lush green forest backdrop only.
Guess what, even the recently released Akhanda has this forest backdrop as most of the action and second half takes place in a greenery setup only which was actually shot at Dandelli forest in Karnataka.
And the upcoming Acharya of Megastar Chiranjeevi is also having this backdrop as the naxalism theme happens in a forest only. Well, looks like all the upcoming films are paying rich tributes to forests, aren’t they?
